The elderly couple were leading the good life in Florida until they were brutally murdered
The good life ended
David, and Mina Swan were living the good life in Clearwater, Florida, until their bodies were found inside their lovely pool home on September 29, 2018. They had last been seen on Thursday, September 27. So what happened between Thursday and Saturday?
The Swans
Mina, 80, a Florida native, had taught art in the Clearwater School system. She’d lived in that house for forty years. Everyone who knew her loved her.
David, 88, was a successful CPA in the Chicago area. He’d moved to Florida when he retired.
The couple met, fell in love, and were married in 1999. David moved into Mina’s home. They’d already raised families and had seven children between them, all adults now and living their own lives.
Now it was time for David and Mina to relax and enjoy life. They loved to travel and had recently visited Iceland. They made friends wherever they went. Mina pursued her interests in art and reading. David loved to play bridge. Life was good for the Swans. Everyone In the close-knit neighborhood knew and liked the Swans.
