I am a military kid too, but from way back in the 1950-60s so it was much different then. I went to 9 schools in 12 years which makes one learn to adapt quickly. My mother always worked in the PX which mean she got all the latest gossip. My father was enlisted so we had lousy housing. It was a tough life back then, and my mother was unhappy. Glad you wrote this, people don’t know what sacrifices the spouses make.
